A few weeks ago Sydkustens B&B, Brasserie and Wine Bar got a new fence. Little Gardens was there weaving a living willow fence.
The thick willow branches were planted on the property line, where the garden meets the field.
It is quite windy here on the south coast of Sweden but wind is no problem for the willow.
The branches are secured in the ground and are then woven into a beautiful pattern.
Are you curious what the fence will look like when it is done? Maybe you would want one in your garden? Visit Sydkustens Brasseri and Wine Bar to see how it turned out! Here you can enjoy delicious food and drinks as well as the amazing view over the surrounding landscape!

Little Gardens grows their own willow used for their fences. The fence can only be installed in early spring. This is when you harvest last year's shoots. If you are thinking about a willow fence for next spring, contact Little Gardens now to make order!
