Simris Strandäng Nature Reserve
Simris Strandäng is a long and narrow nature reserve along the coast between Simrishamn and Brantevik. The terrain is varied with wet areas, sandy beach, and meadows. You can enjoy a picnic here on the cliffs in the morning sun with the sound of the waves and the birds. There are also signs of very old waves, so called ripple marks, dating back to about 550 million years ago. The Skåneleden hiking trail passes through the reserve.
